ORBOTECH S.A. ANNOUNCES NEW PCB SALES REPRESENTATIVE

FOR NORTHERN EUROPE

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – August 15, 2003 – ORBOTECH S.A., the European subsidiary of Orbotech Ltd., today announced that it has engaged Peplertech Ltd. as a sales representative in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry for Northern Europe, including the United Kingdom and Denmark.

Working in conjunction with Orbotech’s Northern Regional office based in Lancashire, United Kingdom and headed by Mr. Paul Davies, Peplertech will offer Orbotech’s complete line of products for PCB manufacture including automated optical inspection (AOI), laser direct imaging, laser plotting, and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) solutions.

Mr. Zohar Weizinger, Co-President of Orbotech, S.A. stated, “We look forward to Peplertech providing additional local sales coverage in Northern Europe.
